R.I.P Steve Jobs

Although I never knew Steve Jobs personally and I can't say I followed all of the news about him, I greatly admired him.  As a man who spends much of his life reading and learning about technology, Steve Jobs was one who would consistently amaze me with each and every product his company put out.  You can't go far without seeing an iPod in hand or at least see a glance of those white earphones.
One thing I truly loved about him and his company was that they made their products

Store Any File Onto Your iOS Device

I'm sure that many of you who own an iOS device (iPod, iPod Touch or iPad) have been wondering how to store files onto your device's hard drive.  Well I found this app called USB Disk that not only allows you to store any file that will fit on the drive, but it lets you view them as well.  This app will let you open many filetypes that iOS wouldn't support normally such as: PDF's, Microsoft Office documents and iWork documents.  Additionally, you are able to unzip .zip files which is nice because you can quickly zip files from your computer and drop them onto your device.

USB Disk's user interface is very simple and works exceptionally well.  I enjoy this app because

My List of Must Have Android Apps

Whether you have received a new android device or you have had one since they came out there are always a few useful apps that you may not know about.  Below are 7 apps that I use almost daily, hope you find them useful:

First I will start off with my favorite launcher:

Launcher Pro (Free/$3.49)

I have tried out many of the launchers in the android market, but none have been as feature-filled and stable as this one.  You are able to customize:

  • How many homescreens you have (1-7)
  • The transition effects
  • Number of rows and columns
  • And my favorite, number of application docks to have
You are able to

Rooting Your G1

Hello everyone, I just recently bought my first android phone, which turns out to be the G1.  Sadly, it is seen as outdated (as said by the android team themselves); however hope is not lost because thanks to people over at cyanogen, you can bring new life into your "old" phone.  Rooting an android phone is nothing new that only highly skilled computer techs know how to do, and can be done fairly quickly but there is always confusion on how to start.  Here I

New Mini Power Plant In A Box

Thought that this invention was worth noting.  If endorsed right and works like it should, we could very well see these in our backyards in 3 to 5 years.  Please leave any comments below.

Mac Hints

If you are a mac user this site is something you need to know about.  There are tips that are updated constantly throughout every day and some you may have already known, but others you will be surprised to learn.  One of the most useful tips that surprised me was the ability to use your Facebook chat with iChat.  All you have to do is setup a few quick things with the iChat server, and you are done.
